Considering all the evidence that supports William Shakespeare’s authorship, it is proved that he is the author of the works with his name on them. William Shakespeare is the name printed on the works that claim his authorship. He was an actor and a globe sharer as well. The social class of the author portrays a lot of that of Shakespeare. Also, the date of the works written and Shakespeare’s time correspond. There is plenty of evidence that proves that William Shakespeare’s authorship is true.

The company known as the King’s Men, the Lord Hunsdon’s Men, and the Lord Chamberlain’s Men. The company was known as the Lord Chamberlain’s Men from 1594-96, 1597-1603. From 1596-97, the company was known as the Lord Hunsdon’s Men. Then the company was known as the King’s Men from 1603-42. Evidence indicates that William Shakespeare was a remarkable affiliate of this company. The Lord Chamberlain’s Men were accredited the King’s Men On 19 May 1603. The credentials lists "Lawrence Fletcher, William Shakespeare, Richard Burbage, Augustyne Phillippes, Iohn Heninges, Henrie Condell, William Sly, Robert Armyn, Richard Cowly" as affiliates of the cast (Reedy and Kathman). Lawrence Fletcher had acted for and was favored by King James which is why he was first on the list. The fact that Shakespeare is listed second indicates his elevation over the other actors. However, he is listed first amidst the other members of the list of “Players”, Every Man in His Humor, and Jonson’s Sejanus. Shakespeare was born in 1564 and passed in 1616, the same time-period in which Shakespeare’s works were written. Since there were poems and plays written up until 1616, the year that Shakespeare had passed, it is not possible that Edward de Vere could have written them. Oxford’s skill was also found to be four grades below Shakespeare’s writing grade. Other scholars have pointed out the inferiority of Oxford’s works in comparison to Shakespeare’s masterpieces. The Oxford’s time and information just does not add up, whereas Shakespeare’s does. “He is the man with the right name, at the right time, and at the right place” (Reedy and Kathman)
