The Knights of Labor was the first major American labor union created around 1871. It was configured by all productive laborers from the factories to fields, whose leader was Terence V. Powderly. Their goals were to adopt a system that could which will secure the labor job and involve the government to protecting the workers. In addition they were fighting to obtain 8 hour work day, graduated income tax, cooperatives.

While it is important for teams to have a winning season, it is also of great importance to have effective coaching. Effective coaching goes deeper than wins and losses, it's getting to know players on a more personal level.
I am not playing basketball this year. Hunting and miscellaneous activities are what I do in my free time . Lunch and PE are my favorite classes of the day. PE is one of my favorites, because we get to prepare for a sport. I lift and work on baseball in PE.
The activity I enjoy outside of my classes is Lacrosse. I started playing Lacrosse in third grade by joining the Farmington Youth Lacrosse team. Lacrosse is something I care about because it is something I am good at and enjoy playing. I also like being on a lacrosse team because it helps me work together with other people and collaborate on group projects in school. What keeps me playing lacrosse is there is always something you can do better and trying to be the best you can be is fun and challenging.

As someone who plays several sports, my favorite sport has to be softball, because you are able to have people on your side that you have to learn to trust and put faith in, which, in my opinion Is a very important skill to have. When you are out on the field, you have to trust that the players on your team have your back and will do whatever it takes to help you win. If you can’t trust your team to be there, then you don’t have a real team. When you come together to achieve a common goal, it is not all depending on you and your actions. You can lean on the people on your team to make you stronger and able to do what is needed.
Sports is everything to me, it gets me through life, teaches me lessons, and makes me who I am. My first sport that I ever played was baseball. Whenever me and my family went to the park it was to do drills and play baseball. Being the youngest and believe it or not the shortest it seemed that's all we did.
The sport that I came to the conclusion to use as my favorite sport would have to be Skate boarding. Skate boarding came out in 1958 and since that day people young and old get out there and shows their stuff. No matter how good or how bad you are.
Sports in my beliefs set the fundementals for livilood of thousands of youth players a year. They help with developing leadership, teamwork, and values that are very well needed later in life. In some cases people would never have expeirenced these fundementals of life without the sport being present in their lifes at some point in time. For in many households especially inner city kids lack the structure growing up that teachers them these so-called fundementals. I have not had to experience this though for I was raised on respect, ethics, and values.
But for me basketball is my favorite hobby. Since basketball is my favorite hobby i practice either at my house or at the park for at least two to three hours a day. Then i go for a run around the park just to help me keep my stamina up when i’m on the basketball court. I wouldn’t know what
My life was always jam packed with stuff I felt was important. When I look back on it I realize what I thought was important only was blinding me to what really was; my family and friends. Through my life, work has been my priority; working at my job, around the house, and working towards my future. What I failed to see in this though, was that I didn’t gain all that I hoped I would from it; Knowledge, friends and happiness.
Flexible Work are terms used to describe a wide range of work styles and employment practices. Broadly speaking, they are used to describe all kinds of employment which differ from the traditional 9 to 5 full time job with a permanent contract. The "flexible" aspect of these type of jobs can in different instances relate more to the employees, or to the employer, or to both. That is, from the employee’s point of view, flexible work may allow more freedom to organize their employment to fit in with other parts of their life. For an employer, the flexibility may come with the ability to organize labor resources more in line with the varying needs of customers, or with peaks and troughs of demand.
Merriam-Webster dictionary defines ethics as, “the discipline dealing with what is good and bad and with moral duty and obligation.” Righteousness and virtuous are a few words I would use to define the term ethics. But where do our ethics truly arise from? From birth, we begin to learn things from our homes and community that shapes the way we view things. The cycle of socialization as describe by Bobbie Harro in Readings for Diversity and Social Justice plays a huge role in determining what values and ethics we carry on throughout our lifetime.
Basketball in my opinion the best thing I can do with my friends to have fun while burning a few calories. I see basketball as a fun and easy way to have fun rather than sitting on the couch all day playing video games or watching television. One reason I love basketball is because you need only yourself to play the game or, you can play with teammates. I prefer to have others to play with rather than just playing alone. To me there is not only one word that I can describe basketball.
The two important values that I have learnt are the independence and the respect. I learnt these two values since my childhood. One of the values is the independence. Independence means that you can support yourself without owning or depending on yourself concerned with livelihood or studying. You can make decision of your life without being controlled by the others.
