The WW2 Monument The WW2 memorial is so beautiful built by experts. A contest was held to decide the design. People come from all over the U.S to see it. You will never forget this amazing site. Many things in the U.S are special to special people, but there's one momorial that catches your eye. The WW2 memorial is one of the most stunning memorial that you will never forget it. It's located on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. It has 56 pillars and a pair of small triumphal arches surrounding a plaza and a fountain, It's right next to the former place of the Rainbow Pool at the eastern end of the Reflecting Pool, between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. The stunning memorial is surrounded by beautiful nature. Its makes your eyes say wow and makes you feel special to be where you are. The World War 2 memorial has a very interesting history that many may not know. The great memorial started construction in 2001 and then ended in 2004. It was made for the 16 million soldiers that gave their life to give Americans freedom. So love one’s come to see their grandpa or a family member who died in the war to honor the dead. It has about 100 to 200 people a day looking at the memorial. People go to remember their lost ones who died in the deadly war or to see how many people fought for our rights. The government funds the great memorial, but also was going to shut it down do to money issues. Protesters tried to stop the shut down and made it work, to where it is still up and running today. In the united states it's one of the most known wars and one of the most exciting memorials to look at. people run fund raisers for it so it can stay up and running. So people can look at what the memorial really is to make them prouder of what truly happened to get it
