Have you ever wondered about the origin of modern airplanes and jets? Two genius brothers, Wilbur Wright and Orville Wright have the answers. They were the first people to create fully functioning airplane. They spent many years working in their own bicycle building and repair shop to raise money for tests and parts for their big project that would one day make them rich. Although, the Wright brothers created the first airplane, they got most of their ideas and designs from gliders which had already been invented for a while. The Wright brothers were both born and raised in the United States of America. Wilbur, being the oldest of the two brothers, was born in April 16, 1867, in Millville, Indiana. Orville, the youngest of the two, was born on August 14, 1871, in Daytona, Ohio. …show more content…

On their way to doing this, they had to build their own engine and craft most of the parts themselves. Without their invention, we wouldn’t have anything that could fly including planes and jets. They spent most of their lives just creating and testing prototypes. One very important thing that happened in their life was that their father, Milton, always told them to chase whatever could spark curiosity in them. Milton Wright also taught his kids to never give up when doing what they like and to always overcome the challenges laid before them. Wilbur and Orville Wright overcame countless obstacles on their way into fame and history. They had perseverance unlike I have ever seen. Almost all people would have given up long before they got half way. The Wright brothers got countless awards, rewards, trophies, and medals for what they accomplished. At the end of their lives, they basically just settled down and mad a lot of money selling their planes. Wilbur died in 1912, and Orville died in 1948. They both died and got buried in Daytona,
