George “Bugs” Moran: American Gangster George “Bugs” Moran was born on August 21, 1893 in Saint Paul, Minnesota. His real name was Adelard Cunin, with George Moran being one of his most famous criminal aliases(BugsMoran.net). While many believe he was of Irish descent, he was actually Polish. He was born into a family of Polish immigrants and while his mother was very kind to him, Moran’s father was very strict towards him.
Joseph Brant was born in Northeastern Ontario of March 1742. His native name was Thayendanegea. Brant had one sibling named Mary Degonwadont (Molly Brant). His dad’s and mom’s name are Peter Tehonwaghkwangeraghka and Margaret. Brant got his education at Moor's Indian Charity school in Connecticut.
Kyam Livingston was a 37 year old mother of two, from Brooklyn, New York who died under police custody in July of this year. During an escalated argument with her elderly grandmother, over alcoholic consumption police were called to the scene. Prior to this altercation, Livingston had made an agreement with her grandmother, a legalized order of protection that was established prohibiting alcohol or fighting in the household. When police arrived she was immediate arrested and taken to King County hospital where she was given treatment for her intoxication. About 8 hours later she was taken to a holding cell in in Brooklyn to wait arraignment.
As we all know 27 year old James Eagan Holmes opened fire in a crowded movie theater, Century 16, on July 20,2012. Holmes had over 700 rounds of ammunition with him, killing 12 and injuring 70. Not long ago, over 3 years after the shooting, on August 7th, Holmes was sentenced to 12 life sentences and 3,318 years without parole. Holmes was a former grad student.

The reason I chose him was because I feel like he is left out more because of his brother Jesse James. Him and his brother were both criminal but Jesse James is remembered more because of his violent killings.
Richard Nathaniel Wright was an author, poet, and writer of fiction and nonfiction. He was born in Mississippi on September 4, 1908 to Nathan and Ella Wright. Wright’s father was a sharecropper, who abandoned his family responsibilities when his son was five years old. Wright learned as an early age the struggles of being an African American in the south, “a time when the American South was in its darkest age of racial segregation” (545). His short story “The Ethics of Living Jim Crow, an Autobiographical Sketch”, is a biography of the way Wright lived as an African American.
Elder Shawn William Wright was born on August 6, 1982 and is a native of Charlottesville, VA. He is the son of Pastor James W. Wright, Sr. and First Lady Carolyn Napier Wright. In the year 2000, Eld. Wright graduated with honors from Charlottesville High School. He continued his education at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA.
For my self-trip I went to the Abraham Clark historical house. The Clark house is located in Roselle, NJ on 9th Avenue. Who is Abraham Clark? Well I didn’t know the answer to this question until today. Abraham Clark is New Jersey’s delegate for the Continental Congress.
Innocent Good evening, ladies and gentlemen of the jury. A young boy wrongly accused. (PAUSE) This case is about a boy called Brother Armstrong that has been wrongly accused of murdering his younger brother, Doodle Armstrong. The evidence and information that I will provide states the innocents of Brother Armstrong.
He had nine siblings living with him. As he grew older he helped his father with his younger siblings and on the farm with crops. On his way home from Chicago, James and his brother were forced to move to the back of the train to a colored-car. He attended Gibbs High School after graduating he joined the U.S. Air Force from 1951 to 1960. When he returned home he attended Jackson State College and then applied for admission to the University of Mississippi in 1961 (www.biography.com).

Ben also was the youngest NAACP leader in history and under his leadership, NAACP grew into the largest civil rights group in the US. Before Jealous was the leader of NAACP, he was a journalist for 15 years, and had a passion to fight for people’s rights.

The incident occurred at a movie theater, while they were screening the 2012 Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises. James Holmes was arrested wearing a gas mask, a “body armor,” and died his hair red to look like “the Joker,” a popular Batman villain.
Fear and Revenge “False accusations are of particular interest to skeptics because skepticism has often been at the forefront of giving voice to the wrongly accused” (Radford). Skeptical claims have been recognized and allows the public to ask for strong evidence to support their claims. It is not right to falsely accuse a person of a crime they did not commit, but it still happens today.
Chemical weapons were used to injure and kill people in war. There were many types of poison gases that were introduced in World War I. The poison gases that were used were mustard gas, tear gas, and chlorine and phosgene. The first chemical weapon that was used in World War I was tear gas. Tear gas caused temporary blindness and bad irritation to the throat and nose.
Wright is best known for a lot of exceptional pieces of literature such as “Blueprint for Negro Writing” which is somewhat of a declaration of independence from Harlem Renaissance writers. Richard Wright was born 1908 on a plantation near Mississippi. Wright personified the classic American dream. He went from being deprived intellectually and in poverty to a figure stone in literature. It was Wright’s childhood that shaped his dream for getting an education.
