Baylor University was founded on February 1st, 1845, it is one of the oldest colleges in Texas. When this university started it was a small Christian college in Independence, Texas. In 1886, the university moved to where it is now in Waco, where it has grown leaps and bounds. Over the years, Baylor University has become a very well-known private college, known for its excellence in academics, dedication to research, and commitment to Christian values.
