Facts William E. Story, Sr. (uncle) promised to pay his nephew, William E. Story II $5,000 if he refrained from drinking, smoking, swearing, and playing cards or billiards for money until he reached 21 years old. Although, it was legal to drinking and play cards for money during the late 1860 's; the nephew agreed and completed his part of the bargain. The nephew also wrote a letter to his uncle about the agreement. The uncle replied and told him the money would include interest under the terms and conditions of the letter. Twelve years later, the uncle died without paying his nephew any of the $5,000 with interest.

This scared a lot of people that the mayor of Devils Lake, Lenawee County, Michigan had to make a curfew that to be to bed by sunset. Who ever broke this law was either put in jail or gone missing.

She fells unhappy in her eleventh birthday and she wished that she was one hundred and two instead of eleven and she likes to be far away like runaway balloon. Ruri in the story of Bracelet fells sad because she has to left her house in Japan for word war two and also she was upset because she had lost her bracelet that her best friend gave it to her and she feel lonely because she promised her best friend that she wasn’t going to take the bracelet off so things we can carry in our hearts and take with us no matter where we are
Ever since I was young, I have always heard someone talking about Marquette. Part of this may be due to the fact that three of my neighbors have gone to Marquette and have absolutely loved it. Adding on to that, I have met even more people that have gone to Marquette that have really liked it and are usually successful in life. I met even more people at the Marquette open house that were from all over the United States and said they went to Marquette and they hope their child will attend Marquette as well. This made me realize that Marquette is truly local, since I know several people that have gone to Marquette that live by me and at the same time it is global, since I have met people around the United States, as well as other countries that
From June 28-July 2, 2017, seven high school students and two chaperones traveled to Anaheim, California in order to both compete and learn at the FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) National Leadership Conference. An example of one of these constants is that of religion’s influence and portrayal within the multitudes of Medias there are, such as paintings, architecture, and sculptures.
