Young Bethany thought she had found the love of her life when she met Bruce. When bad goes to horrible Bethany will go to extreme lengths to escape. On the run from not only the law but her demons, will Bethany face the consequences or keep running? Set in small town of Idaho. Where the leaves fall as the wind blows. The colour shown in this storyboard are blues and blacks/greys, this colour refers to the dark atmosphere and gloominess of this story. The songs which have been used are Kris Allen-lost and Boga- I ran (so far away). The choice of these 2 songs is to show the audience that Bethany is lost, she doesn’t understand that when you make a mistake you need to face your consequences. In the song Boga- I ran (so far away) there are three key lyrics which refer to the story. The first is “ran all night and day” this effects the audience by saying that Bethany was constantly running away and never faced the consequences, “I couldn’t get away “ was the next lyric this shows that Bethany was always being followed by her mistakes. The final lyric which was used is “you’re slowly disappearing from my view” this lyric shows that the love which Bethany once felt for Bruce is fading. The love is fading slowly as she truly loved him but she remembers all the emotional discomfort and physical pain he caused her. The 2 main lyrics out of Kris Allen- lost are “you tell all the bad things I didn’t know about myself” which helps the audience to understand that not only did Bruce abuse Bethany physically but also mentally by calling her names and yelling violent language towards her. The second lyric used is “maybe I’m lost” this refers to Bethany traveling, she is not set to go to one place but to keep
