There has been many serial killers throughout the years, but most of them were caught. However the Zodiac Killer did not get caught even though he committed 5 and attempted to kill 2 more. All of his kills happened in northern California between 1966 and 1969(“Zodiac killer”). Although in his last taunting letters to the news media, he claimed that he had 37 victims for his five years of terrorization.
There has been many profilers, psychologist, and arm-chair detectives that have gave their thoughts of the killer's mind and motive. The popular profile for the killer is that he is a loner who is incapable of holding a steady job and a meaningful relationship with a woman.DR. They were parked on the outskirts of Vallejo, Calif, the gun used was a .22 caliber semi-automatic pistol. The police later got a call from a man claiming responsibility for the murders and confirmed the weapon was a 9mm and also took credit for the Jenson and Faraday attacks. Then again the woman Cecelia 22 was killed stabbed 10 times 5 in the back 5 in the front. The male Bryan age 20 was stabbed six times in the back. This time they weren't in car they were laying down on a blanket in a secluded area on the shoreline of lake Berryessa, the blade of the knife was approximately 10-12 inches long. The man approached them saying he was a prison escape saying he needed money and a car. Bryan offered his wallet and keys but he never took them from him. After talking several minutes to the strange man he tied them up in plastic clothesline and proceeded to stab them first Bryan then Cecelia. The movie is based on the murders caused by the Zodiac Killer and also talks about the taunting letters and phone calls to the police. The two popular books over the killer are “Zodiac” (1986) written by Robert Graysmith and “The Most Dangerous Animal of All: Search for My Father . . . and Finding the Zodiac Killer” (2015) written by Gary L. Stewart. “Zodiac” depicts him as a sexual sadist who takes pleasure from torture and murder (“Graysmith”). Gary Stewart’s book takes a different route more fictional. He writes about when he starts to look for his biological father, which leads him to a horrifying truth that forces him to reconsider everything he thought about himself
