They also have similarities. They both believe in Jesus, both think Sunday is the holy day, both worship in churches and cathedrals, and also their religions are based on love. The two religions both believe Jesus is the son of god, they just interpret the bible differently. They both worship in places called Churches and Cathedral the same as the bible said in the old days. They also believe that Sunday is the Lord’s Day and that’s when they attend church.
While he was conquering, he had tolerance and respected any and all of the people's customs in the different areas that he conquered, letting them keep their religion etc. Aside from Cyrus the Great's tolerance and respect for the people’s religions he conquered, the Persian Empire overall had a religion of Zoroastrianism. A monotheistic religion that believed in two opposing forces in the universe at constant battle with each other. Zoroaster, the founder and creator of Zoroastrianism, taught that one god, Ahura Mazda (God) was the ruler of the world.
The word “truth” can be interpreted numerous ways regarding different situations and also the person that is telling the story. In the book, “ The Things They Carried”, Tim O’Brien wrote about his experience in the Vietnam War and how the war had impacted him and his fellow soldiers. Throughout the story, O’Brien begins to doubt himself and the accuracy of the story that he was telling. “ And then afterward, when you go to tell about it, there is always that surreal seemingness, which makes the story seem untrue, but which in fact represents the hard and exact truth as it seemed” (O’Brien 54). Knowing that everything might not be what it seemed, O’Brien began to realize that “fact” and “truth” are two different items.
Both the Mystery Religions and Zoroastrianism have gods that are similar to Christianity because of their Gods’ benevolence. For example, when Isis comes to Lucius in The Metamorphoses, she says,”... here I am, taking pity on your miseries; here I am, benevolent and protective” (The Metamorphoses 2). While Isis declares herself to be benevolent, it is her actions that show this even more. Isis, as a mighty goddess, still makes sure to comfort her followers, confirming her nature of being kind and loving.
In both religions, the promise of everlasting life was an incentive to act ethically toward each other in order to receive their rewards when their life ends. Another similarity was that the people who did not act ethical, or righteous during their life were punished for it. Also discussing how the communities are similar, and the types of meditation and prayer that is conducted within each of the two religions.
The Coptic Church believed in monophytism. “To put it simply this is the belief that Jesus Christ has only one nature; that his divine nature and his human nature are composite and totally united --church the nature of the incarnated Word, as opposed to two natures united in one person” (Coptic Orthodox Church 2006). The Syriac Christianity came from the middle east. The main similarities in the three are the fact that they all believe in God. Whether it’s one God or many.
With Christianity having been deprived from Judaism, it is easy to infer that they both share many similarities. The greatest similarities they share are that the Old Testament or Torah is part of sacred scripture to each of the religions and that there is only one God. Also, both faiths believe in angels, demons and prophets. Both have a sacrament or ceremony that initiates us into adulthood. For Jewish people it is a bar or bat mitzvah and for Christians the sacrament of Confirmation.

The similarities between Christianity and Judaism are noticeable, especially since those religions came after Zoroastrianism. It influenced other religions in many ways such as heaven and hell and resurrection. There’s dualism and the time for judgment at death that all have their background in Zoroastrianism.
Given the vast number of issues that Zoroastrianism, Judaism, and Christianity share, it is not contestable that there must be clear connection between them. The concern, therefore, should not focus on the existence of connection, but how the connections came into existence. Considering the religions from another point of view, they still reflect a dozen of differences. The current paper seeks to compare and contrast the three religions: Zoroastrianism, Judaism, and Christianity. Beginning with the similarities, the three religions trace their origin and early history in the Middle-East.

I believe that Christianity was the first to come about in the 5th or 6th century, then Islam came about in the 7th century, it is hard to tell what information is correct and what is not because much of the information is conflicting. I do believe from all the information that I read that this piece of information was correct, the Islam people believed that if you do something wrong you pay, and the Christians were more passive and believed in forgiveness. Christianity and Judaism are both monotheistic religions that share many similarities. Both religions were found in present day Israel and share a common writing. They shared the same Ten Commandments; Torah for the Jews and the Old Testaments for the Christians. Even though they are common in many different ways, they are also very different. Their marriage rites, rituals and the meaning of life are different.
In general, Christians believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ, Satan, and the idea of life after death in Heaven or Hell. According to the World Scriptures text, Christianity was a missionary religion that quickly spread throughout the Roman Empire. Around 500 B.C.E the Zoroastrian Persian Empire spread from the Arabian sea to Mediterranean sea, which overlapped with Christianity at the time (Van Voorst 265). Christianity was heavily surrounding the Mediterranean and with the importance of trade routes at the time there was bound to be influencing ideas between the two. One may argue that Christianity was the mission religion that influenced Zoroastrianism.
