Structure - They have Cell walls which are made of chitin-chitosan. Zygospore which are mature has thick walls.

Description - In the kingdom of fungi they are very small group and they are the Phylum Zygomycota.They can reproduce asexually or sexually with the help of process cis a classification that encompasses many dialled conjugation.In the classification of Zygomycota you can see many dfferent species and they all have a genome structure which are different.

Ascomycota

Structure - Because these type of the fungi belong to the Phylum Ascomycota.Therefore, they have are characterised by the formation of an ascus. Which is a sac-like structure and they have haploid ascospores within them.

Description - Ascomycota are also known as sac fungi, a phylum of fungi and they have saclike structure (ascus) and in there you can find four to eight ascospores in the sexual stage.

Characteristics - They belong to the Phylum Ascomycota and they are formation of ascus (plural, asci) and have a sac-like structure in this structure you can find haploid ascospores.

Important to humans - They are very important for us as we used them in baking, brewing, and wine fermentation, plus truffles and morels, which are held as gourmet delicacies. Also, aspergillus oryzae is used in the fermentation of rice.Also, they are used for threat to AIDS patients who have a compromised immune system.

Why they need to be studied - They are studied as they are used in baking , brewing and wine fermentation and to study how they can be used for treatments.
