Santana was playing at Woodstock and two big festivals with a intense performance (Morrison, 2006). This immediately caught peoples eye. After performing greatly known concert arenas, and the Fillmore West they got Bill Graham’s attention (Donald, 2004). This was their biggest break yet. In conclusion, after also getting a record deal from Columbia Records, their first album was released and hit top 10 on the charts, that got to double platinum, named Santana (“Santana”, 2018). After getting more into jazz and after getting a marvelous drummer they had it better (Donald, 2004). They had a struggle getting more into jazz, hoping people would like it. Santana also went through very tough times during a thirty year gap of the song "Evil Ways" and the song "Smooth" in (Morrison, 2006). There was no real reason why this happened though.
