Pediatrics consists of many subdivisions, but all of the subdivisions have one thing in common, which would be infants, children, and adolescents. The subdivisions consist of Pediatric Cardiology, Neonatology, pediatric emergency medicine, pediatric oncology, and many more. The end of pediatric care is around the age of twenty-one. The doctor that specializes in the area is a pediatrician. Pediatrics can be practiced in many different health settings, such as hospitals, clinics, doctor’s offices, surgical centers, and other places. Pediatrics can get a patient coming in for a little cut, or there can be patients come in with life-threatening diseases. Pediatrics evaluate the physical, mental, and emotional health of a child.
