He stands up from his messy seat and imagines that his store is full of an incessant stream of visitors and people rush to borrow money from him. However, a few minutes past, and an hour pasts, nothing happens. The store is still empty and quite. “Bah, humbug! I am cheated! Cheated! You this cunning, crafty little thief. " Scrooge walks toward his assistant-- Rob. “I will count the cost of this MacBook air from your wages. You will get nothing this month! I shouldn’t have believed in your asinine words.” Rob wants to retort, but thinking of keeping his wages next month, he forces himself to clench his lips. Whenever he says "Bah, humbug!" with a satiric tone, all the people around him will laugh out so loudly that he thinks it is definitely over forty decibels, which is the standard that the neighbors can call the police for stopping the noise. What’s more, to his surprise, the more critically and indifferently he says his words, the more madly people chortle and praise him. “People like my personality!” Scrooge tells himself. “I should not change my way of dealing with others just because I am afraid of what the three netizens tell me about the past, present and future! They are just old-fashioned people who don’t understand what is popular now!
