The Transformation Of Scrooge In A Christmas Carol

George Bernard Shaw, a playwright once exclaimed, “Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their mind can't change anything.” Some people make no progress until they changed like Scrooge. Clearly, this quote is true about Scrooge. In A Christmas Carol Scrooge was selfish in the beginning. In the middle of the story, Scrooge was trying to change. At the end, Scrooge changes completely. He was pleasant to others and raised Bob Cratchit's salary. Scrooge's initial behavior was bossy. Fred asked Scrooge if he wanted to go to dinner with him. Scrooge turned the invitation down and angrily screamed, “I'll eat alone.” This shows that Scrooge is lonely and he might not know how to act in front of Fred. Talking to

First, the ghost of Christmas past came. He showed him Fann at his old school being thoughtful to him and Fezziwig which was his apprentices. When Scrooge saw Fann he whispered something like “I want too.” and then stopped. I think he wanted to talk to Bob and tell him that he doesn't have to work on Christmas. Then Past showed him Fezziwig. Past should him his old self saying, “ If I become a boss I'm going to be just like Fezziwig.” Fezziwig was a great boss and let them party with him and get some breaks. Now he is being rude to Bob and letting him get little breaks. Then the ghost of Christmas present came. Present was fat and jolly. He showed Scrooge Bob Cratchit and Fred's house. It's important that Scrooge saw Bob's house. He saw Bob saying good stuff about Scrooge likes I wish Scrooge can come eat with us. Then he realized that be should let Bob get a higher salary or more breaks. Then he saw Fred saying “ I wish Scrooge would stop by.” Scrooge signed and wishes that he could have gone. Future showed him his house getting robbed and Scrooge was dead in his bed. They took bed sheets, a shirt, and blankets. Then Scrooge has scared that he was going to die in a couple days. Then future showed him Cratchit's house. They were talking about Tiny Tim's death. Scrooge felt bad and said, “ I will comfort him before he dies.” They gave Tiny Tim a great funeral. Then Scrooge realizes only a couple of people came to his; no one cared that he died. He wanted to change that. Then future pointed at a gravestone that said, Scrooge. Scrooge kept saying “ I will change!” Then Future's hand started shaking. Shaking super fast, then he stopped pointing and shaking his hand. Scrooge changed the future. He didn't die, he became gracious. Then Scrooge woke up in bed. Scrooge went outside and bought Bob a big turkey for his family. He asks a little kid named Adam to get the turkey for him then Scrooge paid him a lot of money. Then when it was delivered he paid the poultry man extra money. Then he showed up at Fred's house and ate dinner there. He also raised Bob's salary and let him get Christmas day
