In the play “A Christmas Carol” the character Scrooge goes through a lot of change. He thought that change was always bad, but change is sometimes very good. Scrooge was grouchy, careless, and selfish. And in the play, he learns that change can make his life much better.
In the beginning of the play, the Scrooge was a grouchy man. And on Christmas, he did not go to his nephew’s party. He thought Christmas was a waste of everyone's time and money. But when he saw his family toasting him he was surprised. As a result of the shocking toast, he saw that kindness was a great quality to have. So, now he was a much kinder person.
