A good man is hard to find is a story that one is struck by the violence that occurs at the end of the tale unexpectedly. The incident that took place between the misfit and the grandmother, as well as the people that were involved in the accident, can be boastful. The grandmother and the misfit have a conversation that is friendly, and at the same time, it is not that much friendly. The grandmother says that the Misfit or the man in glasses looks like he is a good man and that he knows he comes from good people. The man agrees that he is right and he further says that, “God never made a finer woman than my mother and my daddy’s heart was pure gold.”
I believe that the misfit and the actions, as well as the tone that he makes, would make him to be boastful. This is a man that is surrounded by people who he gives instructions too, and everything that they have to do must be the misfit. He is boasting about he has men that are to represent him in that entire he has to do. He has a gun that he uses to attack people as well as use the gun to frighten people that surround him. In the first place, I think that it is best for him to have helped the family from getting off the crash as well as helping them repair their car so that they can go on with their trip. The grandmother might have forgotten the route to the field hence causing the accident after she was frightened, but the misfit could have helped them in one way or the other.
