In the play, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Hermia and Lysander show much about love and human nature by sacrificing each other just to be together, for example when Egeus says, “Which shall be either to this gentleman or to her death.” (1.1.43-44). H is telling Hermia options of what she can do instead of mary Lysander. Another part in the play when Hermia and Lysander prove that they love each other is when Lysander says, “If thou lovest me then steal forth thy father’s house tomorrow night and in the wood. And in the wood, a league without the town.” *(1.1.163-165) Lysander is asking Hermia if she wants to meet in the woods and run away together. Lysander wants Hermia to sneak out of a window in her dad’s house
