Many companies tend to appeal to children and young teenagers, but as the games mature, so do the advertisements. Many businesses have begun realizing that sexuality in advertisements can increase a consumer’s desire for their products. Even though the numbers seem high, a majority of online games have about fifty million players. The average web user sees an advertisement where a million other people are using it, so why aren’t they? The ethos appeal is utilized when they put a beautiful woman on the front screen, by doing that they are appealing to people's urge to inquire. Naturally when searching the web and a young attractive woman pops to the screen, she is noticed and that is how they get people's attention. The sexuality of the displayed scene only brings more attraction towards the advertisement, this is a very useful tactic and gathers the interest of many possible consumers. A pathos appeal is used once the viewer’s attention is grabbed, who can pass up free forever. When someone reads this advertisement, they see free and get interested and realize that there is no installation required; it is an instant play. This is the way that the appeal to emotions, they make you see how easy the game is, how it’s a quality game, and how good it is for the consumer.
