The first part of WA4 is to choose an ad that we can rhetorically analyze using the terms that we have learned during the first semester. In saying that, I have chosen to analyze the ad from penguin books (Number 11 on the list). I choose this particular ad The ad was a winner of a Gold Press Lion at Cannes International Festival of Creativity and it really involves a lot of illustration that I can develop on. It is a perk for me on it being so illustrated that I can really go into many elements on analyzing it. In the audience aspect, It can be very based from young children to the range of elderly adults being the ones using the product. I can elaborate past with present aspects in describing the audience. The voice can be a very tricky thing because the ad does not say anything but shows headphones that can be very much a thousand words to describe the scene in the ad. I have to be careful not to create any message off the top of my head and actually see what is in the ad and do some research on how audiobooks wanted to take this to their audience and possibly connect the audience and voice together in some way. I wouldn't say in a big way but possibly in a little way. The final and most important part of the rhetorical elements is the situation. Now with the situation, I want to not go into the aspects on why they choose those three authors to be the emphasis on their headphones.Were they significant to someone ? Are they the best at what they did ? I want to go into these questions because I believe that with asking questions on why they particularly used these people, It will help me more on denoting the situation other than just selling audiobooks to the people. It can lead me to see if there is a sign or a message that they want to come across to the
