A Thank You Letter To Fort Campbell High School

Dear Sir or Madam to whom this may concern, Mt name is Alyssa Sherman. I am currently a junior at Fort Campbell High School, but my father has officially retired from the military. I wish to be able to continue my education at Fort Campbell High next year, so I am writing this letter to request permission to remain at Fort Campbell High for my senior year. I wish to remain at Fort Campbell High because I have been attending this school for the past three years and deeply wish to finish my high school career here. I also have many new opportunities here next year, such as being the cadet battalion commander for the Falcon Battalion, drill commander for our award winning drill team, and a mentor for our next group of Model United Nations students. I have many friends and teachers that I have grown close to at Fort Campbell, and experiencing my senior year without them would not be the same. I have made so many wonderful connections at this school, and I feel that when I am at Fort Campbell High, I truly have a place I belong. I have an excellent academic record. Based off of semester one grades, I am currently tied for fourth place overall in my grade level for highest GPA. I have taken, and am currently signed up to take, several AP classes. I have never once had disciplinary actions taken against me, and if any of my teachers were asked, many of them would say I am a quiet, well behaved student. I pride myself on setting myself as a positive role-model for all of my underclassmen friends, and constantly strive to do the right thing. If I had to pin point one area I lack in though, it would be attendance. Although I do not frequently miss school, during certain seasons, I often get sick and/or have severe allergies to the point where I miss multiple days of school. Although I tend to miss school, I never let this affect my grades and always keep on top of my assignments while out
