AP Composition Reflection

My decision to take AP Composition and Literature has been made for a long period of time as I have always excelled and enjoyed my English classes. I also am always looking to further challenge myself academically when possible. While this made my decision for wanting to be in this class simple, I do fear of not keeping up with the workload as this year my schedule is made up of five advance placement classes. However, I have planned and prepared myself for this workload and while it will be difficult, I believe I have a plan that will allow me to keep up in all my courses. From AP Composition and Literature I hope see course work including a strong element of writing and formatting simply because they are areas I believe I am need of the most improvement. Although beyond what I hope to see in the course work, what I wish to gain even more from this class is grasp on what college level literature classes will be like. I believe this is due to the class being made of students expecting a more difficult workload and wanting to take it on. This allows for the class to move faster and for it to be easier to have serious discussions on more complex ideas. I strongly look forward to this aspect of classes and hope to see it portrayed in AP Composition and Literature.
