In the AP essay, Kevin has a well-developed paper consisting of sentence variety, proper identification of rhetorical strategies, analysis, and numerous supporting examples. Kevin displays sentence variety as he introduces his paper. He never starts his sentences with the same words. His use of sentence variety makes his paper smoother to read, and displays a more advanced writing style. Additionally, Kevin follows the prompt’s directions and “effectively analyzes the rhetorical strategies Adams uses to advise her son,” (College Board).

However, a few areas should be addressed before the final draft is submitted to enhance the clarity of the paper. For instance, the use of transitional words or phrases would help with the flow of the text. In addition, any quotation used within the text intended to strengthen the author’s point should be reviewed to confirm the significance of the quote is being conveyed to the reader. Despite there being minor errors throughout, this is a first rough draft and therefore understandable there will be spelling, capitalization, and punctuations errors to be edited as the paper progresses. Additionally, the formatting of footnotes should be reviewed since the latest versions of the Chicago or Turabian style of citation no longer uses superscript numbering for footnotes and the first line of text should be indented.

The task at hand is to alter an English synthesis essay with a prompt dealing with coming of age from the female perspective into a history research paper dealing with coming of age through different centuries and how the social, economic, and political expectations in that time period impacted the process of coming of age. In order to change the genre and discipline to fit the requirements of a research paper about history it will be essential to change the format from MLA to Chicago. The history paper will be an analysis rather than a critical thinking assignment and will need background information from reliable sources that provide sufficient proof. Now, I only have known Alex since the beginning of the year. What I initially learned about her was that her parents immigrated to the United States from Bulgaria; she lived in the United States, specifically Texas, until she was ten years old. Then her family immigrated to England, where they have been living for the last eleven years. For this reason, I concluded that she would be an interesting interviewee when asked about one’s linguistic identity.
However, the SACE Framework does possess within it some limitations. Now with the Australian Curriculum becoming more standardised throughout Australia, is differences between state to state are starting to become less significant. Thus, a limitation to SACE could be argued to extend to the Australian Curriculum as a whole. One such limitation is the concept of scaling.
