All questions have answers. Answers to these questions presented above by the opposing viewpoint upon the topic of abortion are ones that require research. The assurance behind this research is so strong it allows one to be confident that if pro choice supporters look at these stats most would end up changing their political stance on abortion. In all arguments it is good idea to start off with the numbers backing up the point being made. Statistics are not only accurate, and up to date, but also relative. When a possible almost 20% of the future country population is at risk it would be smart to take some time and see where an individual stands. This 18% of pregnancies explains why one out of every three woman in the U.S. able to give birth will experience an abortion process (“Abortion in the United”). This number of one out of every three woman is completely shocking and makes one curious how many people’s parents possibly had an abortion tied to their past. Studies show a significant amount of these abortions happen in the teenage years of one’s life. 27% of women in 2005 ages 15-19 who became pregnant had an abortion (Alters 72). It is amazing how many abortions happen at a very young age. This is clear analytical data that supports the type of immaturity that goes along with making the choice to abort a baby. Abortions in the U.S. are not only categorized through age differences but also ethnicities. Abortions in 2008 were 36% white, 26% hispanic, 30% black, 9% other (“Abortion in the United”).
