Abraham Lincoln once said, “Whatever You Are, Be a Good one”. Abraham Lincoln was one of the most impacting presidents in the economy, social justice, and federal policies. He took the nation out of slavery, preserved the union, and strengthened the federal government. People were very satisfied and lived a happy life when Lincoln was president since 1860. Lincoln got re-elected a second term in 1864 because people believed that he would contribute more success for the country. He did not like the way Black people and African Americans were treated by white people and committed to help those innocent people. Black people were forced to work for richest white people and ensure that the landlord is getting decent amount of profit for his business and that white person barely paid the workers. The working conditions were one of the worst ever, long working hours, bad treatment, and must show a lot of effort to stay at the job. Lincoln did not like the way things were going which led to signing the Emancipation Proclamation.
