Academic Evaluation
The first six weeks of middle school have been challenging and amazing to experience. It has been hard to transition with all this newness and with Mr. Zekri leaving. Now, I have to be more responsible of myself and where I leave my possessions. Also, I am still getting back in the groove from summer and the amount of work we have doesn’t exactly help that. Contour lines in science has also been a burden... for remembering where the differences are between a contour line and an index contour or a contour interval is not easy. Too add, my friends are very amiable, and there’s such thing as “grace” at school. It is not just a name, it’s like forgiveness, and I’m delighted to have some of it in our school. God will help me a lot this year, I know it! Along with all this, I have some goals for this school year, spiritually and physically, and I know God has much in store for me,

During my first six weeks in middle school, I have learned a lot of things; however, I have a few goals in certain areas. One goal I have is to understand and get better at math, especially in algebra and number sense. I also want to get faster at math so I would never have to do math homework at home and meet Mrs. Semanovich’s speed expectations. Some ways I can try to achieve my goal in math include asking questions to make sure that I understand, and checking to see if I made any silly mistakes in the solving process. Another goal I have is to get straight A’s in all my subjects including electives for my progress reports and my report cards. I am getting lower scores in choir than anything else just because of a homework assignment I didn’t do… I know I can do better in this elective, it won’t hurt trying to do so... and I want
