I, Destin Mizelle, am extremely enthusiastic to provide this letter of recommendation for Alexus Durr! I am a second year psychology major with a minor in African American studies and I also have the honor of serving as a Resident Assistant in Brumby Hall at the University of Georgia. I am both honored and elated to have the opportunity to provide Alexus with a letter of recommendation for a Resident Assistant Alexus and I, share the membership relations position in a minority recruitment organization called Georgia Daze. Immediately upon finding out Alexus and I would be co-chairs for the school year, I knew that we would together help transcend the organization. Her outgoing and determined personality has made an unforgettable impression on me and the members of our organization.
As I strive to achieve great academic success and leadership at Montana State University, I hope that my previous experiences will catalyze this process. Using my interests in academics, participation in extracurricular activities, and my own strengths, I hope to become a strong leader. I know I can achieve being both a scholar and an example for other students by utilizing my previous experiences. When I start my journey at Montana State, I expect to find students with common academic interests as myself. My goal is to connect with these students, who appreciate education in a similar way I do, in order to help each other understand topics or lessons that we will learn.
Re: Letter of Recommendation for Joshua Whiting To The RA Selection Committee: I write on behalf of Joshua Whiting’s application for a Resident Assistant position. I believe Josh to be an exemplary student-scholar as well as a person of tremendous character with significant leadership skills. I met Josh in my first semester of college in our biology class. We were both Biochemistry majors so we got to skip Biology 1 and therefore were both new to this new world of college but already in a group full of sophomores and students who had been in college for multiple semesters. Naturally we gravitated to each other due to this aspect we had in common.
Dear Meredith, I am writing to express my interest in the Academic Coach (Math, K-8) position. In my twenty-three-year career with the School District of Philadelphia, my leadership experiences have demonstrated that I can excel at all the essential functions and have the requirements needed to fill the position. The position of Academic Coach requires many essential functions to be successful. The three I feel most important are supporting all stakeholders involved, complete understanding of the mathematical instruction curriculum and implementing change to make positive growth in and out of the classroom.
I was in National Junior Honor Society in junior high; since then it has been a goal of mine to be in the National Honor Society in high school as well. I love helping others and getting things done when other people are not able to. I am extremely adaptable to any situation I am put in and get along very well with others. I have leadership experience in Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts, I am also in a position at my job that gives me a lot of influence and leadership. At work, if people need something they will generally come to me before my boss because 95% of the time I am am able to help them.
As a result, these young women are eager to share their time and talents with the campus community. For example, Leadership Academy serves to build self-assurance and leadership skills and follows a curriculum based on The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership by Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner. Our research tells us that 75 percent of participants go on to hold leadership positions in their chapters or on their campuses. Ultimately, we all want the same thing: a strong campus comprised of individuals who aspire to gain new perspectives, develop leadership skills and strive for personal growth.
My leadership qualities, service, and character strengthen my desire to excel in my academics. I realize the importance of working hard in and out of school will create the future I hope to achieve. I strongly believe that I am deserving of membership to
I am contacting you to ask if you would be willing to write a letter of recommendation for my application of National Honor Society. The organization request to provide a letter of reference from our teachers. Since, I was in your Health Core class last term which I greatly enjoyed, I 'm trusting that you know well enough to talk about my abilities and qualifications. I would appreciate if you could hand me the recommendation letter in printed form by August 29, 2015, as my application deadline is August 31, 2015. I decided to choose the National Honor Society program because it will enhance my leadership skills and also prepare me for college.
My friends and family would describe me as a kind, caring person. I show great character, but my leadership skills need improvement. That is just one of many reasons why you should choose me to be part of the National Junior Honor Society. I plan to improve my leadership skills by leading people by example, by not talking as much, and by contributing to the improvement of my school by participating in the student leadership group. I would like to join their group to not only lead other people, but to work on my own leadership skills and teamwork.
Not only am I dedicated and goal-oriented, I plan well and already have ideas about how to invest into my community. In my home community, I am involved with service to the Milwaukee Public School System and City Health Department’s Earn and Learn Program, providing service to anyone children and adults who need assistance in the school buildings, as well, cleaning cafeterias, classrooms and outside landscapes. Here in the community surrounding A&T University, I am a volunteer for the United Negro College fund Drive. I have served as a mentor to high risk youth with a Greensboro Community based organization “Do It for the Hood”. This organization helps young mentee’s in recognizing their weaknesses and build on his/her strengths.
However, it is clear to me that I must work as a leader and manage many services for my community. It will be a benefit for me, my community,
One of my volunteer opportunities includes raking leaves for a senior citizen in my town. Leadership is something that can always be viewed as an opportunity. One of the clubs that I am a part of is called Junior Warriors Club and recently there was an event called the 8th Grade Nipmuc Showcase where eighth graders get a sense of the high school. I decided this would be an excellent leadership opportunity. I met with so many incoming freshmen next year.
The main purpose of writing you this letter is to express my desire to seek admission to your Master’s Program in Education for Spring 2018. I would like to pursue a Master’s degree in Education at the Neuman University to further my knowledge and acquired specialized skills so that I can serve and support students with unique needs and learning disabilities. The idea of choosing a career in education has always been extremely important to me because I believe that teachers have the ability to not only change the world, but to make it a better place. Born and raised in Africa, I was among millions of children who struggles to get quality level of education.
I always serve my community in any way possible. I am always a good leader for groups, sports, etc., I always welcome new ideas even if
Not only would the Academy hone my leadership attributes, but it also offers unique opportunities to develop leadership capabilities such as cadet squadron positions and BCT cadre. I am the first person in my family to enlist in the military. If I were offered an appointment I would also be the first to attend a service academy, and upon completion I would be the first to earn a bachelor’s degree. I am determined to accomplish these goals and begin a new chapter in my family’s legacy as well as break the status quo that has
