I have been taught my whole life to work hard and never give up, not for any reason. I feel I exemplify scholarship the most, because my grades have always been very important to me. I do any extra credit that I can so that I can go above the average grade in school. I have maintained straight A’s for the year and I have even had over 100% in English every term. Writing is something I enjoy. I have always gone over the requirements in writing essays and my work. I always try to get my work to the best it can be in any class, because I care about my education, and future. My friends and family would describe me as a kind, caring person. I show great character, but my leadership skills need improvement. That is just one of many reasons why you should choose me to be part of the National Junior Honor Society. I plan to improve my leadership skills by leading people by example, by not talking as much, and by contributing to the improvement of my school by participating in the student leadership group. I would like to join their group to not only lead other people, but to work on my own leadership skills and teamwork. I want to be part of something bigger than myself and it was an honor to even have the opportunity to be a member of the National Junior Honor Society. If you choose me or not, I will show you the four pillars of my school everyday in class and when I am not. I want to be more involved in the development of my school and want to be more informed on what is happening. I will display respect for others, kindness towards people, even if they are not kind to me. I will maintain the grade average and I will try to go above the grade average. They know that I really do care about school and that my teachers have had a big impact on my choice to even write this
