It is about a girl name Clary Fray who sees two boys and a girl murdering a blue haired boy at her friend Simon’s party. As she sees it happening she screams and Simon comes over and asks her what happened. But she just pointed to the room whispering that they killed him, call the police, but when Simon goes to check there is nobody in there. So he comes back and assures her that everything is all right and there is nobody there. She does not believe that nobody else sees the three people and even the blood on the floor. Simon then tells her that he will drop her home but as she is leaving she hears one of the boys saying to the other how did she see us, we are invisible to the normal eye so she must be a mundane. The next day she sees one of the boys on her way to Simon’s musical concert and he comes over and tells her that his name is Jace Wayland. He also tells Clary that he is a shadowhunter and hunts demons and that he needs to take her to the institute to meet with Hodge.
