This advertisement is a good and humorous way to illustrate that this pill can help you get back to normal behavior faster. 5) Is your ad designed to encourage central- or peripheral-route processing? (Choose only ONE) This advertisement in my opinion is peripheral because it results in a short-term attitude change. 6) What features, choice of words, layout, or images does your ad use to encourage this form of processing? This advertisement uses humor to encourage this form of processing. It has no words on the ad, but the title and the picture says it all. 7) As a result, did the ad agency think that the audience had high or low motivation? Explain. This ad agency thought that the audience had low motivation because this is not something that would affect a normal American’s daily life. 8) Furthermore, did the ad agency think that the audience had high or low ability? Explain. This ad agency also thought that the audience had low ability, because again it is not something that is very important and would affect a normal American’s daily
