The case of Adnan Syed murdering Hae Min Lee hasn’t been solved in over two decades. The murder of Hae Min Lee has not been solved in over 2 decades. Her accused murderer Adnan Syed was acting suspicious the night she went missing. After school, he asked her for a ride and then there was a note he wrote stating “I’m going to kill”. The evidence shows that Adnan Syed should have been convicted of her murder. The first piece of evidence is Adnan’s very strange behavior the night of Hae’s disappearance. There was no reason for him to ask her for a ride because he owned a car. In addition, Adnan’s friend Jay remembers Adnan declaring that he was going to strangle Hae in her car (Koenig “The Breakup”). It is possible that he asked Hae for a ride to get her alone in her car to kill her. This could be the cause of his suspicion of murder. An additional piece of evidence is the note written in pen by Adnan saying, "I'm going to kill". He and his friend Aisha, were both exchanging a note with one another, including him talking bad about Hae. Adnan was writing in pen and Aisha in pencil (Koenig “The Case Against Adnan Syed”). The back of the note they were writing on was a note Hae wrote to Adnan about breaking up. This note mentioned how Adnan was being very immature about their situation. Adnan’s note written in pen is obvious proof of his guilt. Adnan Syed should have been convicted of the murder of Hae Min Lee.
