Jay then had stated in his second testimony that he dropped off Adnan back at school at 12:30 after shopping with him at the mall where Adnan supposedly said that he would kill Hae. After dropping him off they met up at Best Buy where Jay saw Hae dead in the trunk. Jay also stated in another testimony that they met at Edmondson Avenue and then in another testimony, it was at a strip
However, what doesn’t make sense is that several hours later when Jenn and Wilds came back, Cathy recalls that they were smoothing it over and acting like what happened was no big deal, like they were trying to hide something big. This leads me to the conclusion that they were trying to hide the fact that Syed just killed Hae, because people usually aren’t so secretive over friends getting high and being on the phone with police

If Adnan did kill Hae he would not have time to get out of school and get in his car and drive to best buy and kill Hae and still make it back to school on time for track. Jay says Adnan calls him from a phone booth but when Sarah Koenig went to the best buy were Jay says Adnan called him after killing Hae was never there and even when Sarah checks the company's blueprints and the and the landlord of the best buy and they all say there was never a phone booth
In 1999, the city of Baltimore had more than 300 murders. Hae Min Lee is one of the 300 murdered that year. At just 18 years old, Hae Min Lee was strangled on January 13th, 1999 at 2:36 PM. At 2:00 PM Adnan Syed had asked Hae if she could give him a ride so they could “talk”, he then proceeded to strangle her. Around five hours later, Adnan and Jay buried her body in Leakin Park.

The only evidence used in this case was one testimony and the defendant’s phone records. The testimony was made by Jay Wilds who was with Adnan during the time of Hae’s disappearance. He stated that Adnan planned everything ahead of time and asked him to help after her death. Jay admitted to helping with the disposal of the body, but he’s testimony doesn’t sound trustworthy.

Many different people are brought into the Hae Lee case but the one that sticks out the most is Adnan Syed. On the day of January 13th, 1999 Hae Min Lee was strangled to death by Adnan Syed with the assistance of Jay Wilds.
