On April 1, 1920, Adolph Hitler served in World War I as a Bavarian soldier for Germany. Although he had to have permission due to his Austrian citizenship. He was only twenty-five years old when he served and he suffered horrific and sensitive injuries that would shock the readers of his biography. For example, Hitler was exposed to poison gas on the battlefield. Which is ironic because Hitler ordered the S.S. guards of Auschwitz to use poison gas to kill the prisoners of Auschwitz. Another example of an injury that Hitler endured was he was riding on a bicycle to deliver a message and a bomb went off and blown off one of his testicles.
