Everyone has a mental illness. How strongly does it impact people’s ambitions? Does power or insanity win this time? Adolf Hitler’s life and the fictitious life of Shakespeare’s Macbeth argue that they are erratically unstable tyrants by being bloodthirsty for power and murderous. First of all, tyrants are afraid to lose their power, so they are maddened with insanity and worries of their beloved ones attempting to murder them. First, Macbeth briefly talks to the murderers about Banquo’s death before the feast. These murderers are assigned to murder Banquo and Fleance, his child. “Both of you know banquo was your enemy…...So he is mine..”(89) In this quote, Macbeth talks about having the same enemy as the murders.
