While everyone is different, people are the same for the fact that they are all human. Some of the characteristics that make us human are curious, emotions, and our ability to learn. The humankind does these things on a daily.
We as humans never stop wondering and questioning the things around us. That’s why we went to new lands, created colonies in the New World,and even went to space. In the book, “The Adoration of Jenna Fox,” Jenna, the main character, is always curious and why things are happening and how. She wants to know about the things happening around her, causing her to be curious.” Once I am past the garage house, I have a clear view of Mr. Benders yard, and I wonder what is going on” (Pearson 19) This shows that no matter what, we are curious. We as humans never stop wondering and questioning the things around us; that’s why we went to new lands.

It’s more complicated than that. Our emotions are the driving forces of our lives, and without them, we would be psychological shells. For example, most people have a personality, along with other traits that most humans share. But there are some who are just husks; those that don’t interact or “have emotions.” This doesn’t make them an alien, but it makes them less “human” in a more personal way. Instead of just being people without heart or feelings, we are emotional, loving, hateful, happy, angry, unique people. Without these emotions, we would be empty skin, with nothing but a functioning brain, kind of like fish. Obviously we are all human, and there are many things that separate us from apes and other animals, but we differ them most of all is our ability to
