Affected by World Technology How often do you use technology? Probably everyday right, it's everywhere. We use phones to call, text and to basically do a computer job and yes it is a big distraction. Teenagers are often distracted by technology so bad, they can't even focus on school because of technology. Teenagers are addicted to their cellphones, they don't even talk to their peers anymore they just stare down their technology (Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation). Having technology in classrooms has an increase on motivation to students. When students use technology their problems go away once they find something they like to do own their own. They can have a creative mind set that with build their self esteem and also boost their motivation. Motivation for different subjects like if a child has interest in a subject then on the computer they will be able to do more stuff and explore and it will motivate them to seek into that subject. Their self esteem is built because they can do things on their own without teachers just giving them a worksheet and say do it and that's it they can find what's best for them. “Technology is an ultimate carrot for students” says a fifth grade teacher. People get distracted at the wrong time by their technology. We use our technology while driving which could be the most dangerous thing, but we don't realize it. 26% of nation’s car accidents, the driver was on the reir phone but only 5% of the crashes they were texting (National Safety Council). Why can’t people just concentrate on the road and save somebody else's life even their own? An accident could happen within 6 seconds; the driver could get a phone call then try to answer it but your eyes get taken off the road and onto the phone. That fast you could swerve into another lane and crash, hoping the person didn't die. If so now you’re going to jail for murder just because you couldn't wait.

In Conclusion, technology can be good and bad. It can be good for school like learning and it could be bad for school for like distractions in class. It can be extremely dangerous while you are driving as well. You just have to choose when and how you use it. So how often do you make unsafe decisions with
