In this course, I have learn a great deal from each great leader presented in Aikman’s Great Souls, along with Erasmus and Machiavelli texts on becoming a great leader. Apart from the required texts, I have spent time learning from the biography of Winston Churchill, a man many consider to be a great leader, who paved the path of the world we live in today. Throughout the Johnson’s biography entitled Churchill, the author gives readers various examples of how Winston Churchill’s virtues as a leader shaped his decision making and his actions as a member of the British government, followed by his position as Prime Minister during World War II. I am most inspired by his commitment along with the importance he placed and relaxing and growing in his hobbies. There are two virtue that I would like to becoming stronger in as I graduate from university and move into a professional career field. Although I feel like I have done well in these virtues throughout my college career, I feel that when I make this big transition these virtues will evolve as I evolve into a more professional mindset. The virtue of commitment will also be a large part of my life as I make the commitment of marriage at the end of this year. So as big changes come ahead, Winston Churchill's resilience reminds me to face the head on and be determined in the goals that I set for
