Based on my personal history I was new some facts related to the atomic bomb and its effects as well as its historical stance. When the bomb was used in 1945, during World War II over the Japanese city of Hiroshima the explosion wiped out 90 percent of the city and immediately killed 80,000 people. Furthermore, tens of thousands more had later died due to radiation exposure. When the second bob dropped in Nagasaki, it ended up killing an estimated 40,000 people.
