The title of Moreno and Whitehill article is, “Influence of Social Media on Alcohol Use in Adolescents and Young Adults”, and the article by Dalton Conley is,” Time: Wired for Distraction: Kids and Social Media. The influence of Social Media and Alcohol use can be cause by the different things that are shown or put on the internet. A teenager can go on Google and search alcohol it is so much exposure to alcohol. Many people get easily influenced because they see their peers or family members drinking alcohol. Adolescents and young adults is expose to many different kinds of alcohol that are put on the internet or young adults see their peers or other people drink around them. The abuse can cause serious problems if they are not use correctly. Someone can end their life by drinking dangerous and not watching what they are drinking. Drunk driving is commonly in adolescents. Social media is becoming a big trend in the USA today because of adolescents and young adults. Social media can be used for business purpose, personal lives, and organizations in today’s history (Moreno and Whitehill, pg.91). In today’s generation kids are using Facebook, Twitter, and Snapchat are becoming exposed to using alcohol. (Moreno and Whitehill pg.91). Parents should talk to their children about alcohol before the social media does. First thing to remember is that drinking is not cool. Drinking can lost many deadly accidents that happens to kids. Kids that get drunk can have a negative impact on themselves because they will post pictures and tell their friends in a text messages that they got drunk last night (Moreno and Whitehill pg.93).d Kids should not drink and drive because someone life may be in danger.
