Teenagers at parties can cause a bit of mishap, but when mixed with alcohol this situation can then turn ugly. Glasses breaking, money going to waste, people acting as if they are someone else and a general mess for the owners of the house or hall. Teenagers are under the legal age required to drink alcohol and they are too immature to make good decisions which then leads to serious consequences. When teenagers are drinking not only are they breaking the law, however they are not knowing their limit on how much to drink before they become drunk. It is almost certain that teenage parties nowadays will serve some sort of alcohol and this will be served to teenagers who have never had it before and don't know when to stop. By drinking excessive amounts of alcohol, especially when not having the substance before will lead to a number of dangerous situations such as drink driving or alcohol abuse. It's unfortunate that many teenagers seem to think that drinking alcohol under the legal age is 'okay' or 'fine' to do when in reality it is quite the opposite. If adolescents get caught in the act of consuming alcohol by the police or by another form of authority, not only will they be in court or charged for committing an illegal crime they will also have to face the music of their parents which can be daunting for a teenager. When driving with alcohol you can accumulate demerit points which if too many are made up You could lose your license over a three year period.
