Lowering the Drinking Age

Breaking the law!!?? Teenagers don't think about breaking the law when it comes to alcohol, It's perceived as the norm for a high schooler to go to a party on the weekend and drink. In 1984, the legal drinking age was changed to 21 because of a high rate of drunk driving. In my opinion it has only made underage drinking worse, young adults still get there hands on alcohol. Even at home utilizing their parents liquor unbenounced of their parents The drinking age should be lowered to the age of majority.
Teenagers have a tend to break the law more because of either being careless or peer pressure. Alcohol is one of the biggest crimes right next to marijuana for kids. “By age 18, more than 70% of teens have had at least one drink.” (Leonard Adam Sipes, Jr.). As a teenager myself, I find it very easy to get alcohol. Whether you have a fake ID or you have older friends who are willing to get alcohol. These are all crimes and factors of underage drinking. The family would never let you get eliberated/ death because you family loves you, where as a setting of friends in a party are not always looking out for your well being. In my humble opinion I believe it leads to multiple deaths because the me generation are more worried about protecting themselves then the people who are in need. In Europe the drinking age is 16 and in Australia it is 18. A young age like that, kids learn respect and responsibility when they drink, you learn to act more mature because when you go to a bar as a 16 year old and you're sitting next to a 21 year old you learn to act like they
