Alcohol is classified as a depressant. The purpose of this name “depressant” is due to the function that happens to the person. There are many different types of alcohol; many are popular such as Tequila, Rum, Vodka, and many more different kinds of alcohol. Alcohol is used more like a drug and is best understood as a drug. This alcohol affects the mind differently than an average human mind. Alcohol is viewed and affects people positively and negatively.

Many adults in many countries worldwide drinks alcohol. There is a certain age limit for alcohol in some countries for example the United States of America age limit is twenty one and older. Alcohol is accepted by society in many places such as North America, South America, Europe, Asia, …show more content…

People may drink alcohol because they need too or they wanted too. People want to drink alcohol just to enjoy the feeling of drinking alcohol; it may be because of the taste or something else. There are also other people who wants to drink alcohol irresponsible and or responsible. Some other people may abuse it just to abuse it or use alcohol as way to escape what they are going through.

Apparently alcohol is considered okay to drink and or normal to society. People worldwide accept alcohol as in their daily life. Alcohol being accepted may lead the person to use the alcohol more abusively. This shows how people can be irresponsible with alcohol when being socially accepted worldwide. No matter what age the person is for example varying to the age of one or the age of one hundred years old.

There are many positive and negative effects of alcohol to the human body physically and mentally. Alcohol can physically for long time users can hurt someone but it can be healed. The effects of alcohol mentally for long time users can change the person and damage himself or herself. This damage caused by the alcohol mentally can not nearly let the person be there self again.
