Long ago, back into the time of ancient Greek, was a young 20 year old British Macedonian king called Alexander. He was a very brave, dauntless, and generous man to his followers. He had conquered a vast of land and made it his empire. He had found 70 cities and named most of them Alexandria. He spread Greek ideas and culture to the world.
Throughout history, there has been great military leaders come and go. Although, one of the most well-known conquerors is Alexander the Great. Many people thought he was a good leader and a good king. However, the people he conquered think otherwise. The people who supported him say he was compassionate towards others.

This proves that Alexander shows concern because the least he could do in the situation was make sure the victims were okay, and he did that. He spared the lives of the victims who took refuge. Inspiring others helps aid them to know what they are supposed to do. “After his visit to the Egyptian oracle, he began wearing a crown with two ram’s horns that resembled the sacred headdress of Ammon. Seeing Alexander in the crown encouraged the Egyptians to accept him as a god.” (How Alexander Used Religion) This shows that he was able to gain the trust of the people.
Alexander of Macedon was a great leader, and expanded his influence across multiple lands, including Greece and Persian ruled Egypt. A lot of the time, he used military force to gain control of a new place. He is called Alexander the Great, but to those he conquered, he most likely doesn’t seem that “great”. Despite the fact that Alexander of Macedon used a lot of military force to gain control of new places, he was still a great leader. Alexander gave gave his enemies a chance to surrender to him before attaching them.
Alexander the Great was great. He was the king of the ancient greek kingdom. Alexander the Great was Great because, He was a smart military genius for example in DOC B, he used the enemies weapons against them and they hurt them instead of alexander and his troops. He kept telling Porus and his kingdom that he was going to come and raid him but, he never did it.
In only 10 years, Alexander the Great created one of the largest land empires the world has ever seen. Phillip II, Alexander the Great’s father, turned Macedonia into a regional power, which structured the foundation for his son. Once Phillip II was murdered in 336 B.C., Alexander the Great gained authority over the Macedonian Empire. Alexander the Great expanded the empire to such an extreme extent that it spanned over 3,000 miles, and only at the age of twenty. In addition to broadening the Macedonian empire, Alexander the Great was also undefeated in battle, contributing to his being known as the greatest military leader.
The transformation of the Iatros began with Alexander the Great whose conquest through Egypt, in 322-321 BC, led to the foundation of Alexandria. As he took control of Egypt Alexander the Great continued his conquest East and left one of his Generals in charge, Ptolemy I. Eventually, Alexander the Great died which lead to a power vacuum amongst his generals, who went to war with one another. In light of these events, Ptolemy I declared himself the ruler of Egypt and sought to make Alexandria the economic and cultural capital of the Greek world. Ptolemy I, had a tremendous advantage with the wealth and papyrus of Egypt and was able to basically build Alexandria from the ground up.

He stretched Greek culture throughout Europe, Africa and Asia by founding cities most of which were named Alexandria; These cities encouraged trade and the exchange of ideas in sciences, geography, medicine, and art between the east. Alexander's achievements laid the foundation for the Hellenistic world, the Roman Empire, and also the spread of Christianity all of the New Testament writings were in the Greek language from Alexander's influence. He united the whole of the known ancient world. Alexander the Great changes the very root of history.

Alexander The Great’s title of “The Great” was not an exaggeration. To earn the title of “The Great”, you must've done some extremely good things as your reign as a king, queen, or emperor. Alexander The Great did many great and powerful things during his lifetime. He established an extremely powerful military, and he knew how to strategically conquer land, and he was interested in turning this conquered land into powerful areas.
Alexander the Great has been regarded by many historians as a great person. Many historians say that he spared some people. Since he spared only some people, many other people were dead or killed because of him. Alexander the Great wasn’t great at all. He was a greedy and insensitive human.
Great achievements are obtained by many people in our everyday world. The definition of great varies in many different opinions. I believe that in order to be great, the person must have integrity, discipline, and courage. Integrity is important because respecting yourself and others show that you are considerate and kind. Discipline is also important because having consequences for making mistakes helps you learn from those mistakes, so next time you would not mess up.
Alexander elevated the position of standard men to the members of a polis-citizens as opposition subjects. He unfold growth and easement to several elements along with his institution of the many cities. He introduced the concept to the Greeks and Macedonians the concept of tolerance. That a Persian or the other race might be the equal of a Greek or Macedonian and participate equally during a mature government. Before that almost all Greeks and Maceodonian felt as Aristocle felt.
