Their bodies were numb. Little did they know, this would be their last time together. Noise covering the area. Sounds of screaming, crying, and the sound of pain. Parents frantically trying to locate their kids before she went under. This was the scene Alice and Wendy witnessed as they took their last breath. It all started on April 10, 1912 in Southampton, England. Alice and Wendy were ecstatic to board the new unsinkable Titanic. Their parents, Darla and Carl, surprised them with a family vacation. The girls were about to go to sleep, exhausted after a day celebrating Alice’s birthday. While they were getting ready for bed, their parents went to the lounge to chat with some new friends they met. Then the parents, as well as the girls, felt a violent shake and a loud crash. Their parents ran to the nearby room and told the girls to stay there while they went to see what happened. About thirty minutes later, the parents came back to bring them up so then can board the lifeboats, only to find their daughters gone. Alice was having a major panic attack, repeating a strange phrase, “ Dying Darla desires death.” The strange part is that their mom is named Darla. Sure it scared Wendy, but she was more worried on what to do at the moment. She then figured out what happened. An absolutely enormous iceberg had struck the Titanic.
