The communication criteria mainly pertains to the interaction between high level management and IT managers1, it reflects how accurate each separate entity understand each other in term of need, requirement and goal. As a matter of fact, the goal of the communication is to achieve a close to perfect symbioses environment where business and IT coexist. Unfortunately, achieving the communication criteria is one of the struggle companies are facing when working out strategic alignment maturity. In fact, the real problem consists of the people.
