Being different doesn't mean you have to be treated differently, right? Because of this conflict, right as the sun comes out, well after 7 years, just because Margot had experienced the sun, her classmates locked her up. Because of the mean thing they had done, she missed the sun. They then realize what they had done. The internal is that she is different because she would live on earth and experience the sun, that conflict was not external.
