Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. develops leaders, promotes brotherhood and academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for our communities. The mission statement has made a huge impact on me as I inspired to become a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. I have my own philosophy of a leader. A leader has a skillset like no other, which separates that individual from others and that’s where I wish to be. I’m mindful that a leader isn’t born and it requires following an individual of high morale and prestige before taking charge. It isn’t until a leader has follower that he can distinguish himself from others in the world. I have unknown weaknesses and I believe Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. has exploited those weaknesses during IMDP and I’ve improved as a man. Why did I inspire to become a man of Alpha?
