Womenomics is a theory to reform the gender concepts in the country of Jordan. These concepts include changing the mindset that would help remove some of the cultural attitudes about women and gender roles in the home and workplace. In order to change these mindsets, both the school curriculum and training program in the communities would be developed. They would need to address the lack of women in leadership by participation in counseling, mentoring and gender training. The term Womenomics was coined by the Japanese prime minister Shinzo Aba who described women as “the most underutilize resource.” Women also in the workforce could help a country increase they’re growth at a much faster rate than not having women participate in the workforce. Those views need to be taught early and continued in order for real change to occur. In addition the idea of an e-learning platform that would help with the continued education of women and encourages participation in gender activities. Employers should have requirements standards that would require women to be included at all levels included those in leadership roles. The best-qualified person should have the position; it shouldn’t be given to a person just because they belong to a certain gender. I would then add the government has a responsibility to promote the changes they are trying to implement as well. This could be in the form of a series of public announcements on different platforms such as TV commercials and social media applications.
