What are the ways you deal with death, or your family deals with death? Your decision of coping and grieving is critical because every step you make following the death can be very hard. Something that you never imagined would happen. When you're a child the only life you know is in your culture or can be what you experience growing up. What sets each person apart is the beliefs norms, traditions or even laws of the community. Looking into another culture's beliefs on death is very complex and exciting. No matter how hard we try to solve the mystery, we won't until the death happens. In different cultures, they believe differently in death. In Hinduism, they mostly believe in reincarnation, and the also cremate the dead right away (Kramer, n. d.). There is a process that Hindus believe they will have to do to make it successfully to the next world. Hindu's believe if you do something wrong you will pay for it with despair, or suffering, known as karma (Muesse, 2011). A lot of people put death in the back of their minds because it's the last thing anyone wants to face. It's like a curse to some and can impact a life, and in the Hindus culture, it is a blessing. Your family is your life when a loved one passes it's like a piece of your heart is ripped put, this is why we grieve and have rituals or even ceremonies. I can't speak for all, but I know death strengthens some people but weakens others. No matter where you live, you are influenced by the views of your culture, its human nature.
