She lacks the knowledge on how effective the new advertisement is and provides no evidence on the effectiveness of using a millennial for the “[…] face of Burberry”(Menkes). This example would have strengthened her paper if she gave us information about any effectiveness to Burberrys decision of changing their image. The paper also has a lot of faulty generalization, it is her personal opinion that our generation has a different mindset. Then times changed and products became more accessible with the creation of stores. Customers could now walk into a store and purchase the new trending items without the long wait. Times have rapidly changed in our generation from stores to online shopping now there is no need to drive anywhere; just shop from any device that can access the internet and get your products delivered at home. With this new change companies are now advertising by pop ups that come out while you are on the web. Short minute commercials while you are listening to your favorite music on Pandora, or in short commercials while you are loading a YouTube video.
